    Participation in the research project ‘Hydrogen production and usage opportunities at “AS Latvenergo”.
    Several technical solutions were developed for hydrogen production, storage, and refueling stations, as well as a hydrogen-methane blending module for combustion in gas turbines (up to 5%).
    The work included technical parameters/block diagrams/specifications. Developed solutions were integrated into the infrastructure of Latvenergo CHP-2.

    Preliminary technological research and prototype development of a mobile hydrogen refueling station in cooperation with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.

    Participation in the research project ‘Hydrogen production and usage opportunities at “AS RĪGAS SILTUMS”.
    Several technical solutions were developed for hydrogen production, storage, and refueling stations, including technical parameters/block diagrams/specifications. Developed solutions were integrated and linked to the existing heating plant infrastructure.

  • 2021.01. - 2021.03.

    Within the H2Nodes project, several technical solutions for hydrogen refueling stations were evaluated, where hydrogen is produced on-site at the station.
    The study developed multiple technical solutions for hydrogen production and refueling stations, including technical parameters/specifications and infrastructure connection requirements:
    · Hydrogen refueling station with 155 kg H2 storage and 350 bar dispensing;
    · Hydrogen production via steam reforming at 540 kg H2/24h and 870 kg H2 storage with 350/700 bar dispensers;
    · Hydrogen production via steam reforming at 1170 kg H2/24h and 1740 kg H2 storage with 350/700 bar dispensers;
    · Hydrogen production via PEM electrolysis at 1290 kg H2/24h and 1578 kg H2 storage with 350/700 bar dispensers;
    · Hydrogen production via PEM electrolysis at 3000 kg H2/24h and 3366 kg H2 storage with 350/700 bar dispensers;
    · Hydrogen production via PEM electrolysis at 4940 kg H2/24h and 6198 kg H2 storage with 350/700 bar dispensers.

    2020.02. - 2020.03.

    Initial analysis on hydrogen as an alternative fuel produced from renewable energy sources and the potential locations for refueling infrastructure in Jelgava city.
    As part of the study, three land plots were evaluated for possible hydrogen production and refueling station installation, under the condition that a 350 bar dispenser is installed and 700 bar dispensers are publicly accessible. A technological block diagram was developed for hydrogen production and refueling units, including technical parameters and identifying necessary infrastructure connections for both systems.
